At your initial chiropractic consultation, the chiropractor will take the time to understand your concerns, discussing your pain and medical history in detail. A thorough examination will then be carried out to find the source of your discomfort.

For your comfort, a gown is provided if any areas require assessment that may involve undressing.

The Chiropractor uses a variety of techniques to relieve your pain and to restore normal joint function including chiropractic manipulation, mobilisation techniques and muscle rehabilitation. 

The Chiropractor is trained in many therapeutic techniques to help soft tissue, including Kinesio Tape and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation (IASTM). 

Chiropractic treatment provides safe, gentle, and effective relief from common pregnancy discomforts, including back, pelvic, neck, and shoulder pain. Using specially designed pillows and equipment, the Chiropractor ensures that pregnant patients can lie comfortably and securely during treatment, offering much-needed support throughout pregnancy.

There is no need for you to see your GP before you have Chiropractic treatment as the Chiropractor is trained to evaluate your musculoskeletal problems.

If appropriate the Chiropractor can start treatment on the first visit, and if the Chiropractor believes that you may benefit from any other alternative investigation or treatment they will let you know. 

The Chiropractor will regularly re-assess your progress to make sure the treatment is working for you.
